How to NOT Ruin Your Kids

Episode Summary

In this episode, we discussed some key attributes you must instill in your kids.

Episode Notes

Our job as parents is to create functional adults that other humans want to be around.

If your kids are annoying to you, there’s a good chance they are annoying AF to other people. If they have crying fits with you every time something doesn’t go their way, there’s a chance this is how they will behave with other people when they are older.

It is our responsibility to recognize these patterns and correct them to ensure we are equipping our kids with the skills to handle life.

Your kids will undoubtedly face adversities, disappointments, objections, rejections, and other unpleasant situations. But as adults, we know these are important for growth, and we shouldn’t, therefore, be shielding them from them. We should teach them how to deal with situations and work through them.

Even though there’s no handbook on parenting, Eddie and I believe that if we pay attention to how we raise kids, we can bring up better humans.
