Uncomfortable Conversation With The Copelands

Episode Summary

In this episode, we discuss the most recent event at the nation's capital. We share our struggles with family and friends as it relates to the President and all that he represents.

Episode Notes

We all watched in horror the siege of our nation's seat of democracy by deranged Trump supporters and still hearing news reports of further planned protests across all 50 state capitols. This is a culmination of the falsehoods and lies that President Trump has been spewing to his supporters.

Eddie and I are so frustrated with what has been happening and what it means to our country, our democracy, and our families. I just want an apology from all those who have supported Trump, including my family members. I need these people to denounce him and everything he stands for. This is a man who incites nothing but hatred and harm.

We don't understand why people are willing to risk their personal brand and be on the wrong side of history, supporting a man who has nothing to do with you. Even if you supported him in the past, it is okay to draw the line and say you put your money on the wrong horse.

Tune in to this episode as we have a dialogue about the state of our country's politics and the recent events at the nation's capital, and what it means for our country.
